They are incredibly smart, easy to train and the most loyal loving dogs there is. They have a friendly, outgoing, active, and versatile temperament. They are very sociable and need lots of interaction with their family. They have a thick water repellant double coat and have seasonable shedding. A weekly brush and bath should keep this to a minimum. They average 55-80 pounds and their life span is 11-13 years. The standard colors are black, yellow, and chocolate.
